You Cannot Go Within While Living Without
The Journey to Your Deepest Truth Begins Here
We are all born with a voice inside that has all the answers. When we hear it, it brings understanding to all misunderstandings, it clarifies all questions to perfect satisfaction and it ends all struggles in search for true joy, our life purpose and happiness. Somehow the process of life de-geniuses us and the noise of empty drummers of all those before us with their goodwill intentions become so loud that this voice can no longer be heard.
Since all answers other than through this voice remain to be unsatisfactory, the time for each of us arises to look for this voice and finally to hear it with a clarity that had been forgotten before. If the events of your life have brought you to reading this paragraph, then it is time for you to allow this book to be the lighthouse that guides you to your voice within. There is a reason you have looked up this book and there is a reason that you can no longer ignore that voice calling you home.
IT IS TIME TO HEAR YOUR VOICE WITHIN!
Judge’s Commentary*:
The front cover, though simple, is eye-catching. The purple and white colors are wonderful and put off a good vibe. The words in a circle are interesting, but there seems to be an extraneous ampersand. The book blurb is excellent. The photo of the author’s beautiful family is inspiring, as is the author bio.
The reader appreciates the insert that works well as a bookmark. The entries are all useful. Especially intriguing is the entry about the vibrations of statues, where the author offers instructions for a simple exercise the reader can follow. Though this book was likely written well before current controversy surrounding statues, the author’s comments are especially poignant. The entry on fear is another standout.
All in all, a great book for those wishing to further their spiritual lives.

Reviews for The Voice Within
I loved The Voice Within. It’s a reflective, thought-provoking work that explores human consciousness, personal growth, emotional evolution, and the spiritual quest for inner peace. Alex Abossein shares intimate lessons through his own process.
He speaks about fear, identity, and how we shape ourselves over time. His reflections on how we drift away from childhood innocence hit home. I like his idea of letting fear teach you rather than hold you back.
The “trinity of self” section — self-image, self-esteem, and self-confidence — was simple but powerful.
Abossein nudges your back toward your true self, encouraging you to breathe deeper and remember that there is always a way back to inner peace.
As the chapters unfold, you are invited to question long-held beliefs, confront inner fears, and rediscover the essence of joy, love, and authentic being. Just gorgeous in every way!!
This book is like a magic spell being cast upon you, in the best way! Alex Abossein has written a poetic book of wisdom with nuggets of truth that hit you like “pow!” when you least expect it. The writing style is, as I said, poetic, and it’s not a book that is easy to speed through. Instead, it’s a book to read slowly and thoughtfully.
He quotes important texts like the Bhagavat Gita as well as luminaries like Deepak Chopra, Wayne Dyer, Rumi, Ralph Waldo Emerson, etc.
I felt a distinct feeling of warmth while reading this book, as if my intuition is saying, “Yes, there is truth here! This author is on point! Listen!” As I read, I felt that Alex is a truly wise being who has really important things to share, and those ideas really moved me. I hope he is out there teaching these ideas to others in person/online, for I feel that that is his purpose.
Alex poses many, many questions, which can feel a little bit distracting at first. He wants to give you questions to ponder and to help you learn by questioning. As the book continues, he asks fewer questions and offers more specific concrete ideas and strategies, which I thought were really valuable. I really loved this book and hope it reaches people far and wide. The world needs it!
The author of The Voice Within presented this profound exploration of life that had me thinking about my own purpose and limitations. The way this book unfolded was quite inspiring as it followed a man’s struggles with physical hardships and showed how resilience and determination can lead to overcoming challenges. I was definitely challenged to confront my own barriers and it prompted a much needed reflection on self acceptance and growth.
The examination of identity in this book was something I found particularly interesting. It was made clear that self discovery cannot happen in isolation and that connections with others play a crucial role. I appreciated the warnings against relying too much on material pleasures. Instead the author guided readers toward realizing that true fulfillment comes from understanding deeper truths about life and our connections to something greater. The depiction of pain as a teacher was especially important because I found myself recognizing the importance of learning from struggles instead of avoiding them.
Also this book tackled the tension between societal expectations and individuality in a way that truly spoke to me. The idea that true fulfillment lies in embracing my unique path really struck a chord. I found myself reflecting on how personal experiences shape one’s understanding of existence. The contrast between joy and fear was beautifully articulated such as joy leads to abundance while fear can often lead to feelings of separation. This exploration encouraged me to look within for the answers I seek and make room for personal growth.
One part of the story that I really connected with was the metaphor of a knight in rusted armor. It illustrated how fears and doubts can hold us back from experiencing true joy. I was inspired to consider how vulnerability and self trust could be key to my own life. The author also crafted a tale of a king seeking wisdom which revealed that life’s lessons often come from unexpected places. I appreciated how the book emphasized the power of belief in shaping our reality. It made me think a lot about how perceptions affect our health and overall well being.
After going through The Voice Within I can honestly say I would recommend it to anyone on a journey of personal evolution. This book is filled with practical wisdom and compassionate insights. It has the potential to enhance emotional intelligence and improve personal relationships. I’m giving it a 5 Star review because it resonated deeply with me and I believe it can do the same for others seeking to explore the depths of their own existence.
The Voice Within is one of those books that doesn’t try to impress you with complicated theories or spiritual jargon. Instead, it gently reminds you of something you’ve always known, but perhaps forgotten along the way: that every human being is born with an inner guide, a quiet intelligence, a built-in operating manual that never stops speaking to us.
A calm, reflective, soul-nourishing read that doesn’t lecture you, it awakens you. It invites you to a journey that begins and ends within your own heart.
The Voice Within by Alex Abossein is not just a book—it’s an awakening wrapped in pages. From the very first line, it dares you to look inward, to question the assumptions that define your sense of self, and to face the uncomfortable truths that keep you from real peace. Abossein’s writing flows like a philosophical current—gentle at times, then powerful enough to pull you into deep introspection.
Every chapter unfolds another layer of self-discovery. Whether exploring the “Trinity of Self,” confronting fear as both friend and teacher, or diving into the illusions that shape our reality, Abossein’s insights feel both ancient and refreshingly relevant. The blend of spiritual depth, psychological clarity, and raw humanity makes this book stand out in a crowded field of self-help and metaphysical titles.
What makes it unforgettable is its honesty. This isn’t a book written from a pedestal—it’s written from the trenches of human experience, with humility, humor, and hard-won wisdom.
If you’re on a journey of personal growth or simply tired of surface-level inspiration, The Voice Within will challenge, comfort, and ultimately change how you see yourself and the world around you. A masterpiece of inner exploration and a companion for anyone seeking truth beyond the noise of everyday life.
The Voice Within Book shares a self-reflective process of seeking the inner voice through recognizing the truth of our essence. This world utilizes many distractions that can easily take us away from our voice within but with the information from this book, it provides us with the ability to return to our true self.
The Voice Within is nothing short of a masterpiece. This book takes you on a deeply personal and transformative journey into the depths of your soul. The author has an incredible ability to blend wisdom, compassion, and practical guidance in a way that speaks directly to your heart. Each page feels like a gentle invitation to pause, reflect, and reconnect with your true self.
What I loved most about this book is how relatable and accessible it is. Whether you’re someone on a spiritual path or just looking for more inner peace and clarity, this book offers valuable insights that will resonate with you. The exercises and meditations are incredibly effective and easy to follow, making it feel like you’re not just reading a book but actively engaging in your own personal growth.
This book really hit me in a way I wasn’t expecting. The Voice Within isn’t just another self-help or motivational read it feels more like sitting down with someone who dares to ask the same big, heavy questions you’ve carried around in your own head but never said out loud. Questions about fear, faith, purpose, and that quiet voice inside that we tend to ignore until life forces us to listen.
What I loved most is that it doesn’t pretend to have all the answers neatly packaged. Instead, it takes you on a journey through innocence, through fear, through ego, through self-doubt and shows how every one of those struggles is actually part of the process of finding peace and strength. The chapter on fear, in particular, stood out to me. It flipped the idea of fear on its head, framing it not as an enemy but as a teacher that shapes who we are if we’re willing to face it.
Alex’s writing feels personal and reflective, yet at the same time, it nudges you to examine your own life in a very raw way. There were moments I had to stop and think, almost like I was having a conversation with myself. That’s not something every book pulls off.
If you’re looking for something that goes deeper than surface-level positivity, something that asks you to sit with hard truths, but also leaves you with hope and a sense of purpose, this book is worth the read. It’s not always comfortable, but it is powerful.
“The Voice within” is one that encourages self reflection regarding our life’s purpose. The book will challenge you as it is very thought provoking in that it looks at faith and self fulfilment. The theme of true happiness comes from within rather than seeking in in the physical world is the spiritual journey of looking for the answers from the quietened mind. I found it a very enjoyable read.
This book invites me to reconnect with my inner voice, which I was born with. I love that this is a guide to happiness, love, and harmony. By tuning in, I silence dread and chaos, finding transparency, excellent health, and the deep satisfaction I have been looking for all along.
This book felt like a gentle nudge from a wise friend reminding me to trust my inner voice. The author writes with warmth and clarity. He makes self discovery feel inviting not intimidating. I highly recommend to anyone who wants to read a self improvement book.

This book was such an incredible exploration of how to truly know the self. I was especially pleased with the sections in Chapter 7 describing the Castle of Silence, Knowledge, and Will and Daring. It can be very hard to maintain high self-esteem in an intolerant world but this book helps to acknowledge the importance of being in unison with yourself. Highly recommend!

What an absolute pleasure it is, to have Master Abossein’s writings finally compiled into a book! Always insightful and thought-provoking, they bring a compassionate, calming and no-nonsense voice, to the mysteries and foibles, to the human psyche. (They have certainly prevented me on more than one occasion, from mentally constructing a modern day Medieval Rack, on which to cast certain nameless miscreants, as I am compelled to observe things outside myself.)
The Voice Within will have the “solar effect” in transforming your daily thoughts, habits and outcomes, helping to create internal peace and happiness. The simple practice of accountability serves my life with daily inspiration in overcoming life’s challenges. This is the elixir to longevity.
Reading “the Voice Within” was such an introspective process. I found myself reviewing the relationships I have with my family, friends, and coworkers. What my expectations are for these relationships and what my motivations might truly be. We often get so involved in our own world that we forget to step back and listen to our inner voice. This book will lead you to that quiet place of reflection that we all need.
This was such an amazing book to read. It was thought provoking and inspiring. As I was reading and taking in what was being said about listening to your voice within you and the power within these moments. I could really feel the positive effect it was having within me as well as my interactions with others. I did not expect to find the book to be such a blessing, but I’m gad I did. Highly recommend!
